Delgo movie synopsis / summary

The land of Jhamora is torn apart by the mutual prejudice of two peoples — the winged Nohrin, masters of the skies, and the terrestrial Lockni, who harness the mystical powers of the land. When Delgo (Freddie Prinze, Jr.), a reckless Lockni teenager, forms an outlawed friendship with the spunky Nohrin Princess Kyla (Jennifer Love Hewitt), hostilities between the two peoples escalate, setting the stage for an exiled Empress (Anne Bancroft) to exact her revenge and reclaim her rule. With the help of a devious traitor to the throne (Malcolm McDowell) and two bumbling servants (Eric Idle), Empress Sedessa kidnaps Princess Kyla and frames Delgo for the crime, igniting a war between the nations.

The Day The Earth Stood Still – Plot / Movie Summary

A representative of an alien race that went through drastic evolution to survive its own climate change, Klaatu (Keanu Reeves) comes to Earth to assess whether humanity can prevent the environmental damage they have inflicted on their own planet. Klaatu himself already has a negative opinion of humans, and when barred from speaking to the United Nations, he decides they shall be exterminated so the planet – with its rare ability to sustain complex life – can survive. It is up to Dr. Helen Benson (Jennifer Connelly) and her stepson Jacob (Jaden Smith) to convince Klaatu humans are worth saving: but it may already be too late.

Cadillac Records is a 2008 film that starts Beyonce Knowles and Adrien Brody. It has a Dreamgirls vibe to it and this flick is gonna be released worldwide on December 5, 2008. Cadillac Records delves on the rise and fall of Chess Records – responsible for catapulting the careers of Muddy Waters, Etta James and Chuck Berry. Leonard Chess scoured the South, checking out the various blues scenes and selling records from the back of his Cadillac. I’m sure Beyonce is going to produce a nice hit song for this.
